Distance learning…a new term we’ve all added to our vocabulary. Along with social distancing!
As we are navigating the new/current normal with our students, I just wanted to share some resources. I know some teachers are all in with digital resources and online lessons, but that just doesn’t work for all of us.
We have some school-wide apps that my students can use at home and I’ve sent them a few more ideas, but I don’t want them spending too much time on devices. Some families don’t have enough devices. Etc. We have had online meetings and activities, but I’m not teaching lessons online right now.
So, for my students, I’m sending some printables for reading, some logic puzzles (read my Logic Puzzles blog post HERE!), some hands-on math ideas, and more. I send a daily activity sheet of activities and discussion starters.
- I do send them digitally on our app because we weren’t able to go in and make packets for them.
- If they’re not able to print, they can still read most activities on a device and then use pencil and paper or discussion for responses.
- I know some districts are making hard-copy packets of materials that the kids can pick up, which is great, too!
- Also, check out my blog post of Parent Reading Resources to find some things that may be helpful to you!
Here are some awesome FREE printables for you to use with your students!

Whatever works BEST for YOU and YOUR STUDENTS is what you should be doing right now! I just wanted to show you some of my resources and have them in a central place for teachers and parents to view! I hope you will find something you can use.
Happy Teaching!
